i love the idea of light yagami having a schoolboy crush on L

as kira he'd have no clue wtf going on, mostly out of necessity, because if he ever acknowledged having a crush on anyone he'd die

when he loses his memories he has less of a reason to walk around the issue... he is more Conscious of his feelings, but still hellbent on hiding them

L says "brilliant deduction, light" and light's like ahem. thank u. but he's giggling and kicking his feet internally. if he weren't handcuffed to L and currently in the middle of task force hq he would get up and do several joyous laps

i feel like he'd also be like. fanboying over the fact that L is the world's 3 best detectives like waow.. he is so smart.. he really solved all of those cases.. usually everyone around me is dumb, but not him... *dramatic, lovelorn sigh*...

HEY NATIVES! heads up for those going to see Killers of the Flower Moon

haven't seen it yet myself, but a friend just gave me the rundown:

-SUDDEN OWLS ON SCREEN, twice apparently? also appeared to be screech owls, no less.

-a very intense and violent rant by DiCaprio that features the S-slur.

definitely sounds like a tough movie for ndns to watch overall, but these two things stood out to me. might be good to know... if you have owl taboos or are very traumatized by the S-slur, please take care of yourself. maybe wait for it to hit streaming services next month so you can control your experience a bit better.

my current headcanon is that from ianthes pov corona has just been baiting judith all these years. like 'pretend to like the weird kid' style. because ianthe clearly had no clue corona had any real affection for judith in ntn even though shes been invited to every birthday party for years. but ianthe used her party invites for psychological warfare, why wouldnt corona?
